On Monday 22nd June 2015, the Executive Director of a Nigerian NGO that runs tutoring projects for students in partnership with a State Ministry of Education, wrote to confirm their interest in partnering with me to run my Excel-VB club coaching session for their students and volunteers.
For me, this is proof that MORE people are seeing the career development opportunities available in Excel VB Solutions Development.
If everything goes according to plan, and we actually get started, I intend to produce video recordings of the LIVE sessions we will have during the long holidays, in addition to ALL the MS Excel workbooks and video tutorials that will be created for the learners.
All of that will be put on a home study DVD to be made available to interested persons.
(a). The ExcelVB club offers serious minded business users a platform to learn useful spreadsheet automation skills using MS Excel-Visual Basic.
(b). The competition provides such business users with a REAL WORLD relevant challenge that they can use to test their new skills, thereby building the confidence to deliver greater value to their employers or clients – leading to increased productivity and income.
(c). The Kiddie’s arm of the club aims to promote zero cost spreadsheet programming skills development in kids, to solve everyday problems.
To reach more users who may desire commercial ExcelVB software development skill, I seek to partner with smart learning providers, to run my 4 day Case Study based ExcelVB Programming workshop.

Just 2 days ago, I have a wonderful meeting with the manager of an IT training outfit, which ended with him asking one of the trainers present to arrange for a meeting with the rest of the team, to discuss my Excel-VB club partnership offer.
Like I told a client subsequently, it appears Nigerians are finally opening up to my offers. That’s a good sign – especially as I’m taking this to Benin Republic, Ghana and Cameroon as well!
I believe what I’ve started can create employment and income for serious business users and young school leavers across West Africa as I travel.
